This position provides analytical support for the assessment, negotiation, administration, and maintenance of managed care contracts for USPI ambulatory surgical centers.
Key functions of this role include:
- Developing Reports, Databases and Dashboards: Managed Care analysts assist in creation and maintenance of reports, rosters, and interactive dashboards that provide managed care related data in a clear and concise manner.
- Reporting and Communication: Developing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contract Analysis: Interpreting and analyzing managed care contracts, including reimbursement methodologies and payment terms for purposes of responding to questions from the operational teams.
- Collaboration: Working with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, clinical) and external stakeholders (e.g., providers, payers).
- Research: Supporting research work related to managed care contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, healthcare administration, business or related field is preferred. High school diploma is required.
- At least two years of previous experience in financial or operations analysis, preferably in a healthcare provider setting.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of critical thinking.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Aptitude to effectively synthesize information
Compensation:
- Pay: $57,616 - $92,144 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
