LPN full times are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. LPN full times are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an LPN to join our team.

Job Summary:

  • The LPN provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
  • The LPN provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family-centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations.
  • The LPN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center provides:

  • Ophthalmology
  • Cosmetic
  • General Surgery
  • Reconstructive
  • Orthopedics
  • Podiatry
  • Gynecology
  • Urology
  • Otolaryngology/ENT
  • Pain Management services.


Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 1 year required, orthopedic and spine experience preferred: 
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, managers, vendors, and the public:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity, and innovation:
  • Willingness to perform necessary downtime work
  • Willingness to learn new tasks

Required Experience:

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications: Successful graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program approved by the FL State Board of Nursing; Recent LPN experience within surgical setting, preferred; Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting and positioning of patients; Computer skills required to utilize the electronic health record systems.
  • Required: FL LPN Licensure, BLS and Clearances
