Responsibilities
Seaside Surgery Center is a multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and was the first ASC on the west coast of Florida south of Tampa to offer same-day outpatient total joint replacement as one of its services. Seaside also offers Pain Management procedures, Podiatry surgery and a full range of orthopedic procedures. Seaside is conveniently located in North Naples off Immokalee Road.
Job Summary:
Candidate must be a Florida licensed Registered Nurse with at least 3-5 years recent OR experience, with Orthopedic experience preferred but not required. Full time hours of 30 per week with the ability to flex to 40 if needed. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a close knit team is imperative. Critical thinking skills and organization with attention to detail is required.
Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
Position is mainly Monday thru Friday but may entail occasional Saturdays, may require some later evenings Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
Required Skills:
Required Education, Training & Experience
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
3-5 years’ experience in the OR required, at least 1 -2 years of ortho experience preferred.
Scrub experience a plus but not required Current American Heart BLS certification, ACLS a plus Flexible in scheduling with initiative and team work mind set.
