Full Time Medical Assistant needed for interventional pain management clinic in Edmond

• Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays

Responsibilities

• Responsible for rooming and interviewing patients
• Obtaining and documenting vitals and patient history in EPIC
• Assisting with injections in clinic
• Pre-op and post-op calls to all patients scheduled for OP procedures
• Reviewing, scheduling and verifying all scheduled procedures
• Communicating with the hospital team regarding any changes
• Obtaining consents for procedures
• Other duties will include phone triage, medication refills and scanning and referrals 

Requirements

• Position requires a minimum of one year clinical experience 
• Experience in pain management is preferred
• Must be knowledgeable in medical terminology as it relates to spine
• Applicants with EPIC and pain management experience will be prioritized
• Must be a team player who is organized, dependable and shows initiative in helping team members complete tasks so our patients are well taken care of
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
