OR Nurse Manager at Flagstaff Bone and Joint Surgical Center

The OR Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the operating room and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role provides leadership and support to the surgical team, coordinates staffing and scheduling, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborates with physicians and administration to maintain excellence in patient outcomes and operational performance.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona required
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
  • Previous leadership or management experience in an ambulatory surgery center or surgical setting preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with orthopedic surgical procedures preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage staff, prioritize responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and surgical scheduling systems preferred
