Overview
OR RNs are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. OR RNs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Our team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to delivering high-quality surgical care in a patient-centric environment.
Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Surgi-Center of Central VA
The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case

Required Experience:
- Current RN license in the state of VA.
- Recent experience in the operating room or perioperative nursing.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterile field maintenance.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure surgical situations.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety.
