Summit Surgical Center in Fresno - RN OR Circulator Full Time
At Summit Surgical, we believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment with a dedicated staff.
We have 7 Operating Rooms and growing case volume.
Specializing in Orthopedics, Pain Management, Oculoplastic, and Podiatry
Under the direction of the charge nurse and clinical director, the Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to the care of the patient experiencing an operative, orthopedic procedure.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates perioperative care for all age patients in an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center
- Provides care and demonstrate knowledge of AORN nursing standards of practice and the policies and procedures of the Center
- Makes decisions regarding patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and other members of the health care team
- Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize task, use critical thinking skills, and be flexible as job priorities change.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with physicians, patients, staff, and all members of the healthcare team
- Cognizant of the physiological, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual needs of the patient
- Accurately documents nursing care
- Demonstrates a positive attitude
- Uses problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to foster effective, good work relationships with team members
- Adheres to dress code, attendance punctuality, meal break and rest periods
- Maintains required competencies
- Attends required center meetings.
Pay Range: $42.00 - $56.00 / hour
Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
Required Skills:
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing
- Current CA RN License
- Minimum one (1) year experience in surgery
- BLS, ACLS required
- CNOR a plus but not required
Required Experience:
Fresno Summit Surgical Center complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
