Responsibilities
Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Obstetrician/Surgeon in the operating room during cesarean sections, tubal ligations, D&C, and other related Obstetrical surgical procedures. In addition, the scrub tech provides clerical support in Women’s Services, assists with vaginal birth processes, and is responsible for maintaining supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must have certification: CST (preferred) or TS-C
- Previous clinical experience in an Operating Room environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Good communication and time management skills
