Responsibilities
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Frisco is searching to hire an OR Nurse Informatic Analyst for our Surgical Services Department.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Informatics RN is responsible for overseeing processes related to the evaluation, design, testing, implementation, and provision of technical and application support of clinical information systems. This individual leads clinical information systems installation and upgrade projects. The Informatics RN designs and conducts educational programs relative to clinical information management and systems.
Required Skills:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Minimum of 5 years previous Perioperative experience preferred
- Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
- BLS required
- Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with physicians, vendor representatives and employees.
- Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures and professional surgical services standards.
- Three to five years experience in informatics or related field
- Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to apply logic to the analysis and development of complex workflow and system processes.
- Change management skills desired
- Knowledge of Meditech Information System preferred.
