Gainesville Endoscopy Center is hiring a Scope Washer

GI Tech 

The GI Technician/Endoscopy operates under the direct supervision of the Endoscopy Manager.   The GI technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments. Additional duties of the GI technician include managing patient flow, preparing the room for procedures, stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling various clerical tasks.

Qualifications

·High School Diploma or equivalent

·Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab

·Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred

·Current BLS required, ACLS preferred
