Housekeeper at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Garland:

·Maintain cleanliness in patient care areas, offices, hallways, and common spaces

·Sanitize and disinfect surfaces to uphold health and safety standards

·Remove trash and hazardous waste following proper protocols

·Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

·Assist in laundry services as needed

·Follow infection control procedures to ensure a sterile environment

·Work collaboratively with staff to support overall facility operations

Qualifications

Education:

·High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

·Strong attention to detail and organization

·Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·Time management and efficiency in completing tasks

·Understanding of infection control and sanitation procedures

·Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience required (healthcare setting preferred)

·Experience handling cleaning chemicals safely

·Familiarity with infection control standards in a medical facility (preferred)
