Registered Nurse Operating Rooms are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. - Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
- Current in BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
