Patient Care Technician FTs are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. Patient Care Technician FTs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Responsibilities
Southwest Endoscopy is seeking a motivated full time Patient Care Technician to join our team. Southwest Endoscopy is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Payrate is $19-$22.00 depending on Experience.
Job Description and Duties:
Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations
Required Skills:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current CPR or BLS. CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.
- Demonstrates necessary clinical competency.
