Glendale Surgical Center, located in Glendale, CA is seeking a motivated Clinical Managerto join our team.

Glendale Surgical Centeris a multi-specialty and fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. This center specializes in Orthopedics and Pain Management.   We have 1 Operating Room and 2 procedure rooms.

Job Summary: 

The Ambulatory Surgical Services Clinical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinical areas, including OR and Pre-OP/PACU, and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Manager will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Clinical Manager will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.   This is a hands-on nursing manager role that will also cover cases when needed.    

Starting Salary Range: $122,720- $153,400 annually, depending on experience

Required Skills:
  • Graduate of a professional school of Nursing
  • Current license as a CA Registered Nurse
  • 2+ years current operating room experience.  Need experience working Orthopedic cases. 
  • Supervisory experience in outpatient surgery 
  • BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, PALS accredited by AHA.   Can obtain PALS within 3 months of start date.
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others
  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Staff Nurse are required for this position
