Glendale, California Glendale Surgical Center (11253)Glendale Surgical Center, located in Glendale, CA is seeking a motivated PRN Registered Nurse Preop/PACU to join our team. Glendale Surgical Centeris a multi-specialty and fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. This center specializes in Orthopedics and Pain Management. We have 1 Operating Room and 2 procedure rooms.
The RN Preop/PACU provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients before surgery, and patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
Hourly Wage Range: $45.00 to $65.00/hourly, depending on experience.

Qualifications:
·Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
·Active RN license in the state of CA
·BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
·2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
·Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
·Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
·Strong communication skills, verbal and written
