Position Summary

The Medical Assistant plays a key role in supporting clinical and administrative operations while providing excellent patient care. This position is responsible for ensuring a welcoming environment, assisting with patient flow, and supporting procedural readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Answer and direct phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and address needs promptly
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, including cleaning, stocking, and room turnover
  • Assist with patient flow to and from procedure rooms
  • Support patient positioning and care within scope of practice
  • Pull and stage case materials in designated areas
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with administrative duties as needed
  • Follow aseptic and sterile techniques in all applicable procedures
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and infection control standards
  • Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and patient experience
  • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • BLS certification required
  • Completion of Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Patient Care Technician (PCT) training program
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred

  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
