Position Overview: We are seeking a PRN PACU RN to join our dynamic team at Haymarket Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in post-anesthesia care, demonstrating longevity in past roles, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
  • Monitor vital signs, assess patients' conditions, and ensure a smooth transition from anesthesia to recovery.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Skills:
  • Valid RN license in the state of Virginia.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in PACU or critical care settings.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification. 
  • Demonstrated longevity in past roles, showcasing commitment and reliability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
