Certified Surgical Scrub Tech FTs are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Certified Surgical Scrub Tech FTs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Full-Time Certified Surgical Scrub Tech

Accredited by The Joint Commission, our modern facility features one operating room and two treatment rooms, offering advanced technology to support specialized procedures in pain management. Surgical Scrub Tech at Chattanooga Pain Center
The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Required Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification as required by state and/or center
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
- Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
