Responsibilities
PRN Registered Nurse (RN) - Chattanooga Pain Center
Chattanooga Pain Center in Hixson is seeking a dedicated and experienced PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an integral part of our patient-focused practice, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. If you are a highly skilled and motivated RN with a commitment to longevity in your roles, exceptional patient focus skills, and proficiency in IV administration, we invite you to apply and contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of those in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor IV medications in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring individualized and comprehensive care.
- Assess and document patient conditions, progress, and responses to treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of patient care processes.

Required Skills:
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Perioperative experience preferred.
- Exceptional patient focus skills with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and individualized care.
- Proficient in IV administration and skilled in monitoring and managing patients receiving IV therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within the healthcare team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
