Job Summary:
The Scope Reprocessing Technician, is responsible for ensuring that endoscopic equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and ready for use. Key duties include -
1.Cleaning and Disinfection: Thoroughly clean and disinfect endoscopes and other related equipment following established protocols.
2.Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect equipment for damage or wear and perform routine maintenance as needed.
3.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, cleaning, and maintenance.
4.Compliance: Ensure all procedures comply with health and safety regulations and standards.
5. Support: Assist medical staff during procedures by preparing and providing necessary equipment.
Cross training available to include - Front Desk, GI Tech, and PACU Assist.
Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00/hour depending on experience

Required Skills:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current BLS certification
- One year experience in an endoscopy or gastroenterology preferred.
- Able to read, write, and communicate
- Displays a primary interest in giving good patient care and maintaining standards of courtesy and friendliness
