Breast Center Liaison

We are seeking a proactive and personable Breast Center Liaison to serve as a central point of coordination and support for patients navigating breast health services. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth scheduling, follow-up care, and communication between patients, physicians, and the clinical team. The Liaison will help enhance the patient experience, drive engagement, and support the center’s volume growth initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for patients referred to the Breast Center
  • Coordinate appointments for imaging, consultations, and follow-up care
  • Ensure timely communication between referring providers, radiologists, and specialists
  • Provide education and reassurance to patients regarding processes and next steps
  • Support scheduling, registration, and pre-authorization processes as needed
  • Assist in tracking patients through the continuum of care to reduce delays in diagnosis or treatment
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient access and referral processes
  • Participate in outreach initiatives to build and strengthen provider relationships

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of outpatient healthcare operations, preferably in women’s health or breast imaging
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and providers, both in person and over the phone
  • Comfortable navigating EMR systems and scheduling platforms
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

Required Experience:
  • 1–2 years in a medical office or healthcare setting required
  • Experience working in women’s health, breast centers, or imaging facilities preferred
  • Background in patient navigation, scheduling, or care coordination is a plus
