Houston, Texas Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Park Ten (11209)USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center at Park Ten, is seeking a motivated Front Desk Clerkto join our team. Memorial Hermann Surgery Center at Park Ten is a multi-specialty surgery center committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.
The Front Desk Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in system; Collect monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls.

Required Skills:
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. *One-year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred. *Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties. *Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required. *Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial *Bilingual preferred. *Good communication skills.
