Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Materials Manager to oversee and coordinate all supply chain and inventory operations across Carondelet Foothills Surgery Center and Arizona Digestive Institute. This is a floating position responsible for managing inventory, purchasing, and vendor relations to ensure seamless support of clinical and procedural needs at both locations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to deliver cost-effective and efficient materials management in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare materials management or supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical and procedural supplies, inventory management systems, and vendor relations.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to travel between and work flexibly at both locations as needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory software systems.

Preferred:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in materials or supply chain management (e.g., CMRP).
  • Experience in ambulatory surgery centers, GI/endoscopy centers, or hospital settings.

Work Environment:

  • Work is split between Carondelet Foothills Surgery Center and Arizona Digestive Institute (both in Tucson, AZ).
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, and handling of materials.
  • May require lifting up to 50 pounds and working in storage rooms or sterile environments.
