We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Materials Manager to join our administrative team. The Materials Manager is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of medical and surgical supplies, ensuring the hospital operates efficiently and cost-effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of supply chain processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and administrative teams.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ordering, receiving, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular audits to prevent stock shortages.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing and manage supply contracts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies regarding inventory management.
- Work closely with clinical staff to anticipate supply needs and adjust inventory accordingly.
- Track and report key metrics related to inventory performance and costs.
- Maintain proper documentation of purchases, deliveries, and inventory adjustments

Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and build positive vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in materials management or supply chain operations in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical supplies, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
