Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated OR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. This role is critical in supporting a smooth and safe operative experience for both patients and surgical staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a passion for working in a collaborative perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and circulate during operative procedures
- Prepare and position patients for surgery in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to ensure efficient surgical flow
- Ensure surgical asepsis and patient safety are upheld throughout the perioperative process
- Support surgeries in a variety of specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology

Required Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing)
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
- BLS (CPR) certification required
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire (if not already certified)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Effective communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and anesthesia considerations
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure
- Proficient in navigating surgical instruments, OR protocols, and patient positioning
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of OR experience in an intra-operative setting required
- Experience in circulating and prepping across a range of specialties is highly preferred
- Prior experience in critical care or PACU settings is a plus
- Telemetry or perioperative experience beneficial
