Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. This role is crucial in ensuring safe, seamless, and compassionate care for patients recovering from surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, patient-focused, and thrive in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement physician orders while ensuring continuity and quality of nursing care.
  • Continuously evaluate patients’ conditions, prioritizing safety, comfort, and privacy.
  • Provide total comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
  • Assist physicians in procedure rooms as needed, including conscious sedation and use of sterile technique.
  • Conduct patient and family assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in preparation for discharge.
