We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role is all about ensuring patients receive seamless, safe, and supportive care as they recover from anesthesia. If you’re detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrive in a collaborative setting, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive patient care as they recover from general anesthesia or sedation.
- Implement physician orders and continually evaluate patients’ conditions.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
- Assist physicians in procedure rooms, including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
- Collaborate with patients and families to prepare for a safe discharge.

Required Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stay organized and take initiative in a fast-paced setting.
- Thorough knowledge of perioperative processes, including surgical procedures and anesthesia implications.
- Current patient assessment and nursing care skills.
- Telemetry experience is a must.
Required Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Active RN license in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of PACU or ICU nursing experience.
