RN Endos are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. RN Endos are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Texas International Endoscopy Center is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing exceptional gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Our mission is to deliver patient-centered care with a commitment to excellence, innovation, and compassion.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endoscopy Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in gastroenterology procedures and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including obtaining medical histories and informed consent.
  • Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures by managing equipment and ensuring patient safety.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and sedation levels throughout procedures.
  • Provide post-procedure care and education to patients and their families regarding recovery and follow-up instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and procedural details.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing staff education.

Required Skills:
  • Current Texas RN license (required).
  • BLS and ACLS certification (required).
  • Strong communication and patient education skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient safety.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based care model.
  • EMR proficiency and accurate clinical documentation habits.
  • Knowledge of GI procedures, scopes, and post-anesthesia recovery protocols is a plus.

Required Experience:
  • 1–2 years of nursing experience, ideally in a GI, endoscopy, or surgical setting.
  • Prior experience with moderate sedation, recovery room protocols, and/or circulating in a procedure room is preferred.
  • Familiarity with infection prevention, patient safety practices, and ASC workflows.
