POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Director (HRD) is responsible for strategic workforce planning, as well as the day-to-day HR Operations. The HRD proactively works with leadership to drive organizational performance objections for growth, experience excellence, quality, and integrity. This person will partner with the Market Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, Administrators and Business Office Managers to ensure alignment (where appropriate) with policies and salary administration.
Responsibilities
FUNCTIONAL EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
This position provides overall human resource generalist support across all areas of Human Resources in the home office.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading Results through Effective Talent Management
- Selection
- Training/Development
- Performance Management
- Leadership/People Management
- Coach leaders through HR and people challenges
- Facilitate training based on opportunities and gaps of knowledge
- Partner with market leadership to create individual development plans as needed
- Annual Performance Management
- Oversee mid-year and year-end evaluation cycles
- Manage annual merit planning process
- Employee Relations
- Guide leaders on employee relations issues and conflict resolution
- Handle escalated employee complaints and investigations
- Partner with Ethics and Compliance on concerns as needed
- Review ADA accommodations and train leaders on interactive process
- Talent Management and Workforce Planning
- Analyze turnover and retention tactics to support action plans by market, region, and facility
- Work with market leadership on 9-box and succession planning
- Compensation
- Work with compensation team to provide data helpful for market reviews
- Partner with facilities to review potential adjustments
- Coach leaders through the process for pay rate changes, if applicable
Qualifications
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE, ATTRIBUTES AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated ability to lead talent management that supports organizational performance metrics.
- A solid working understanding of core HR tools, resources, structure, processes
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, align the organization, and lead the implementation of projects and initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and trust with employees and leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and proactively provide/propose solutions.
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field required.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred).
Travel
Must be able to travel up to 50% within the market. Selected candidate will be required to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Compensation
- Base pay: $110,000 - $160,000 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-50% depending on role level.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
