Responsibilities
Midwest Specialty Surgery Center is a free-standing orthopedic outpatient surgery center located on the southwest side of Indianapolis. Midwest specializes in total joint replacement of the hip, knee, and shoulder as well as general orthopedic surgery.
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team that would work with patients before, during, and after orthopedic surgery prior to discharge. The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated, fast-learning professional who is able to multi-task effectively and maintain a good attitude and patience. You will not take call. You will not work weekends or holidays. Hours may vary from time to time, based on patient needs for the day. Typically, hours are 8-6:30pm. At times shifts may run later depending on when patients are ready to discharge.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Operating Room experience preferred
- Active RN license in the state.
- ACLS Required
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
