Physicians Surgery Center is a state-licensed, AAAHC-accredited multispecialty ambulatory surgery center dedicated to delivering exceptional outpatient surgical care in a compassionate and efficient environment. Our board-certified physicians and skilled nursing and technical staff use state-of-the-art equipment and the latest techniques to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for every patient.
We’re seeking a PRN Recovery Room Technician to support our clinical team in providing outstanding care to patients recovering from same-day surgical procedures.
Position Overview
The PRN Recovery Room Technician plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized post-operative environment. This position supports the nursing team with non-clinical recovery room duties, helping ensure efficient patient flow and a positive experience for patients and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
Assist nursing staff in room turnover and preparing recovery bays between patients.
Change linens and restock supplies in a timely and organized manner.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the recovery area and support spaces.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote efficient recovery operations.
Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
Support a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Note: This is not a clinical role and involves no direct patient care.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong work ethic and demonstrated longevity in previous roles.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Prior experience in a healthcare or surgery center setting preferred, but not required.
Flexible availability to work as needed
