Sterile Processing Technician
Jeffersonville, Indiana Advanced Regional Surgery Center (12202)Advanced Regional Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Advanced Regional Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Job Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
CBSPD or IACHSMM required
Experience with all types of sterilizers
Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
