The surgery center scrub tech anticipates the needs of the surgical team and establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.

What You'll Do:
Prepare operating rooms with surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring a sterile environment for procedures.
Anticipate surgeon's needs during surgeries, passing instruments and supplies accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a smooth flow of procedures, adjusting as needed.
Continuously monitor and assess patient and team safety, proactively resolving any potential issues.

Required Skills:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
- Current CST certification
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred
- Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
