Surgical Technologist PRNs are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. Surgical Technologist PRNs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op. Responsibilities
- Anticipates the needs of the surgical team.
- Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Reports to Clinical Director/Administrator
- To perform this job successfully, an individual shall be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Required Skills:
Reasoning Ability:
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other skills and abilities:
- General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures in an operating room.
Required Experience:
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma / GED; Completion of a Scrub Technician Program.
- Certification is preferable.
- Two years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
