Las Vegas, Nevada Durango Outpatient Surgery Center (10101)Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is hiring a Full Time - Sterile Processing Technician Lead to join our team.
Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Las Vegas, NV. We offer our physicians lightning fast turn over times and our patient’s unique personalized service. this is a high volume, fast paced, multi-specialty surgery center! Our mission is to provide first class surgical services to the local community in a safe, comfortable, welcoming environment one in which we would be happy to treat our own families. We have 5 operating rooms offering a full range of surgical procedures including: Bariatrics, Colorectal, General Surgery/Robotics, GI, OB/Gynecology, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Spinal.
What You Will Do (Job Summary):
Under the general supervision of the Administrator / Clinical Director, coordinates and oversees the daily activities between the Operating Room (OR), schedule and SterileProcessing Department (SPD) to ensure efficient case flow and needs.Will supervise the Sterile Processing Department staff.
Monday-Friday daytime work schedule
NO call required
NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of Sterile Processing Certification program. Certified Sterile Processor preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in a multi-specialty operating room environment to include knowledge of sterileprocessing operations and issues
- Knowledge of medical instruments and surgical procedures as related to the OR
- Knowledge of the proper set up of an operating room
- Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with physicians, surgeons, operating room staff and other healthcare professionals
- Supervisory experience
- Current BLS accredited by AHA
