Business Office Manager

 Lawrenceville Surgery Center: is an established ortho-focused outpatients surgery center. We are seeking a business office manager to add to our team.
A successful applicant will be driven and results-focused with a "can do attitude." We are committed to providing high quality service to our patients, our staff and our medical staff. Business Office Manager at (Facility Name) 
The Business Office Manager provides day-to-day management of the business office staff and will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our healthcare facility. You will oversee and manage the business office operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity for career growth in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • Five years’ supervisory experience in a medical setting; hospital, surgery center; physician’s office
  • Proficiency in in accounting and ability to use computer-automated accounting systems
  • Experience working with different types of third-party papers including HOM, PPO and Medicare/Medicaid, etc.
  • Demonstrates accountability, integrity, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related business experience.
  2. Preferred three years of management experience including three years in a health care organization.
  3. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for two years of fiscal management experience.
  4. Thorough understanding of the insurance industry.
  5. Knowledge of governmental regulations.
  6. Maintains a high level of proficiency in computer applications.
  7. Skills in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
  8. Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, staff, and the general public.
  9. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management regarding fiscal policies.
