Alvarado Eye Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse - Charge Nurse to join our team.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):
The Registered Nurse - Charge Nurse, serving as the nursing support for the center Administrator, will be the main point of contact for RNs regarding patient care, scheduling, and other day-to-day responsibilities. They also perform the duties of a Registered Nurse daily and provide supervision and guidance to the nursing staff, stepping in as a staff nurse when necessary due to staffing needs.
Key Duties Include
- Manages nursing operations according to policies, protocols, and regulations.
- Uses data for continuous quality improvement and coordinates with Quality Management Committee.
- Ensures clinical care meets standards, collaborating with Center Manager and physicians.
- Handles clinical relations, including recruitment, training, and associate engagement.

NO call required!
NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!
The starting pay range for this position is $45 - $67/hour, depending on experience.

Required Skills:
- Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current unencumbered California RN License
- 3+ years experience in perioperative setting or procedure healthcare. Relevant work history in environments that require surgical procedures and patient care. Experience in optical procedures preferred.
- 1+ years nursing leadership experience
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- BLS & ACLS accredited by AHA required
- Independent decision making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors.
