Position Overview:
As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will play an essential role in ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, organized, and ready for use. Your meticulous attention to detail will help maintain the efficiency and safety of our surgery center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following established protocols.
- Assemble and organize instrument trays for surgical procedures.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory.
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety standards.
- Familiarity with multispecialty surgical instruments and equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Required Skills:
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (SPD).
- Minimum HS Diploma or GED
- Proven longevity in previous roles, showcasing reliability and commitment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining sterile environments.
