Full-Time Certified Surgical First Assistant/Surgical Tech – Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center

Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced First Assistant/Surgical Tech to join our dedicated team. As a multispecialty surgery center, we are committed to providing high-quality surgical care in a safe and efficient environment. We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in surgical assisting and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons during procedures by providing hands-on support in the sterile field.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure a safe and sterile environment by following infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • CSFA/CST Certification required.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • Minimum HS Diploma or GED. 
  • Strong experience in surgical assisting, with demonstrated longevity in previous roles.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multispecialty surgical environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
