Responsibilities
Northwest GA Surgery Center is a single-focused ambulatory surgery center serving the orthopedic patient population.
We strive for excellent patient care each every occasion we have with our patients and their families.
Job Summary: Provides nursing care within state standards of practice and the policies of the Surgery Center.Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members. Helps maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of unit as a whole.May have additional responsibilities as designed by the Clinical Director /Administrator, which include, but are not limited to, providing patient care in other departments (after being oriented and educated), serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects.
Required Skills:
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Current State of Georgia Nursing License
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 3 years experience preferred intra-operative setting.
- One year leadership experience required intra-operative setting
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
