Radiology Technologist

Northwest GA Surgery Centeris a single-focused ambulatory surgery center serving the orthopedic patient population. We strive for excellent patient care each every occasion we have with our patients and their families.

Radiology Technologist 

The Radiology Technologist performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Surgical Hospital.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • State Department of Health - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
  • Basic Life Cardiac Support.
  • 1-2 years experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in operating room setting.
  • Able to prepare reports and keep records
  • Able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the health care team
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Familiar with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
