Arizona Advanced Endoscopy is seeking a motivated Clinical Manager to join our team. We are a fast-paced ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) environment, committed to delivering the highest quality care and experience for patients and their families.

The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing and developing the clinical departments of the ASC, including tasks such as hiring, evaluating, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising staff. We are looking for a leader with proven strategies and the flexibility to foster continued growth for the business. The Clinical Director must possess excellent critical thinking skills and emotional intelligence to manage relationships with staff at all levels. This role supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization and reports to the ASC Administrator.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Implement staff development programs, quality assurance initiatives, and budget monitoring for clinical services.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for program growth and ensure business sustainability.
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the management team.
  • Manage regulatory compliance, including Joint Commission and CMS standards.
  • Oversee program development and ensure adherence to fiscal budgets and performance improvement goals.
  • Schedule and supervise clinical staff, ensuring optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Act in accordance with the vision, mission, and values of the center.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in perioperative, pre-op, or PACU clinical areas.
  • Ambulatory surgical center experience is a plus.
  • Experience generating revenue for clinical services and managing client billings.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance standards, including Joint Commission and CMS guidelines.

Required Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well with physicians, staff, and patients.
  • Strong organizational and program development skills.
  • Knowledge of staff management, budgeting, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic computer software.
  • Critical thinking skills with emotional intelligence for managing relationships at all levels.

Required Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
  • Must possess a BSN or higher degree in nursing.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona.
  • Current certification in BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Minimum of five years of operating room or critical care experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in outpatient surgery settings preferred.
