Responsibilities
Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is a specialty surgery hospital serving the valley for over 20 years! We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for our Operating Room.
Responsibilities:
- The OR RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
- The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
- Resource person and provides guidance to non-licensed personnel.
- Cares for adolescent to geriatric patients.
Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
Schedule:
- A minimum of two shifts required a month
- $45.00/hour
Required Skills:
Required Skills
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Orthopedic Operating Room Experience Required
- Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred.
- Current Arizona Nursing License.
- Current CPR, ACLS certified.
- Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
- Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.
- Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the young adult, adult and geriatric patient.
