Quad City Gastroenterology is looking for an Infusion Nurse to join our team! Our location is open Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays, and the hours for this role will be 7 a.m. to 4:30p.m. with a 30-minute lunch. This role  will work directly with the provider. Must be comfortable with weekly travel between Iowa and Illinois. 
Job Summary: 
The Infusion Nurse is responsible for administering intravenous (IV) medications, fluids, blood products, and other infusion therapies while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and education. The Infusion Nurse monitors patients throughout treatment, assesses responses to therapy, and collaborates with providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications: 
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required; infusion, oncology, emergency, critical care, or medical-surgical experience preferred.
  • Infusion therapy certification (CRNI®) preferred.
  • Experience with biologics, specialty medications, chemotherapy, or infusion center operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of IV therapy, vascular access devices, and medication administration.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
Pay Range: $32.00 to $51.04/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
