Med-Laser Surgical Center is a leading provider of advanced ophthalmology surgical procedures, offering compassionate and top-tier patient care. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to delivering high-quality eye surgery services in a patient-centered environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. The OR RN will play a critical role in providing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This role ensures patient safety, monitors patient conditions, and collaborates with the surgical team for optimal outcomes.

As an OR Registered Nurse, you will prepare the operating room, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready, and assess patients before surgery to confirm their readiness. You’ll assist the surgical team during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and monitoring vital signs, anesthesia, and patient conditions. Postoperatively, you’ll provide care, monitor recovery, and educate patients and families on aftercare and follow-up. You’ll collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless care, maintain accurate patient records, and adhere to healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Required Skills:
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  • Proficiency in monitoring surgical patients and maintaining a sterile operating room environment.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to changes in patient conditions.
  • Knowledge of endoscopic procedures and surgical protocols.

Required Experience:
  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • BLS and ACLS.
  •  Preferably 2+ years in an OR setting; Ophthalmology experience highly desirable.
