Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join our clinical team. In this role, you’ll assist with pre- and post-operative patient care, support surgical teams in maintaining a clean and efficient environment, and contribute to a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical center (ASC).


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Provide basic clinical support to non-acutely ill surgical patients
  • Prepare and maintain a safe, clean patient care environment
  • Support with transport, positioning, and turnover between procedures
  • Maintain infection control and aseptic standards in patient care areas
  • Accurately document care and communicate with the clinical team as needed

Required Skills:
  • Understanding of patient care charts and clinical workflows
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform standard procedures (e.g., vital signs, EKGs, venipuncture) per protocol
  • Familiarity with surgical patient care and sterile field maintenance
  • Adaptable and able to work collaboratively with clinical staff in a changing environment
  • Committed to safety, accuracy, and patient satisfaction

Required Experience:
  • Medical Assistant or formal clinical training preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar patient care role
  • Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting is a plus
