Our center offers a safe, efficient, and patient-focused environment where we specialize in a wide range of surgical procedures. We’re committed to excellence, innovation, and compassion in everything we do.
We’re looking for a dedicated Operating Room RN to join our clinical team. This role is key to ensuring smooth and safe surgical operations and delivering outstanding patient care. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a collaborative setting, values teamwork, and has strong attention to detail in the OR.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Circulate and assist in the operating room by anticipating the needs of the surgical team and maintaining a sterile and organized environment
- Prep and position patients, verify consent and site marking, and assist anesthesia providers as needed
- Perform thorough documentation and maintain accurate patient records
- Monitor patient responses and coordinate with surgeons and other staff to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Participate in the restocking, cleaning, and setup of OR suites to support case flow and efficiency
- Support a wide variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, ENT, general surgery, gastroenterology, gynecology, ophthalmology, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, and urology
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of the full perioperative nursing process
- Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and adapt quickly in the OR
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable working across multiple surgical specialties
- Familiarity with patient monitoring, sterile technique, and safety protocols
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced ASC environment
Required Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Current BLS (CPR) certification – ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the intraoperative setting required
