Full-Time OR Circulating Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Location: Providence Surgery Center, Mt. Juliet, TN

Juliet, TN, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in various specialties.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating room, including equipment setup and sterilization procedures.
  • Monitor patients during surgery, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards of care.
  • Administer medications, manage IV lines, and provide post-operative care and monitoring as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.

Required Skills:
  • Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
  • Minimum of 3 years' of experience as an OR RN, preferably in a multispecialty surgical setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • CNOR preferred
  • Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
