Odessa, Texas Odessa Endoscopy Center, LLC (15058)USPI Odessa Endoscopy Center is seeking a motivated GI Technician/CNA to join our team. We have 2 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.
GI Duties: The GI Tech assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. The tech also stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures.
CNA Duties: The CNA duties will include stocking Recovery Room bedsides, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones and, assisting RN’s as needed. This roll will include transporting patients into the vehicles once they are discharged, Screening Questionnaires, cleaning/making beds, wiping down bedside areas, preparing linen bags if needed, monitor food supply level, stocking nourishment area and reporting when food is needed to be ordered.

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
CPR Certified
2+ years’ experience in established endoscopy center, preferred but not required. Will train right candidate.
Working knowledge of standard Gastroenterology procedures preferred but not required.
