Oklahoma City, Oklahoma·Financial & Operational Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial, operational, and clinical analyses to support hospital leadership in strategic planning and performance improvement. ·Cost & Revenue Modeling: Develop and maintain cost accounting models, revenue projections, and service line profitability analyses to optimize resource allocation. ·Decision Support & Reporting: Generate detailed reports and dashboards that translate complex data into meaningful insights for senior executives and department leaders. ·Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting process by analyzing historical data, trends, and performance metrics to inform projections. ·Clinical & Financial Integration: Work closely with clinical departments to evaluate the financial impact of care delivery models, patient outcomes, and efficiency initiatives. ·Data Integrity & Management: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial and operational data by validating sources and implementing quality controls. ·Benchmarking & Variance Analysis: Compare hospital performance against industry benchmarks, identify variances, and provide recommendations for improvement. ·Decision-Making Support: Assist leadership with scenario analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and feasibility studies for new programs and initiatives. ·Collaboration & Communication: Partner with multidisciplinary teams, including finance, IT, and clinical operations, to streamline data-driven decision-making processes. ·Other duties as assigned |
Required Skills:
Education
·Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Specific Job Experience
·Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, decision support, or healthcare analytics within an acute care setting.
Required Experience:
Experience with hospital financial systems, decision support software, and databases.
·Advanced Excel and data analytics skills.
·Strong understanding of hospital reimbursement methodologies, payer mix analysis, and value-based care models.
·Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements affecting hospital finance (Medicare, Medicaid, DRGs, CPT codes, etc.).
·Ability to interpret and present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
